Two MW&TBS songs (“Hey, Boy” and “Bliss Seeker”) have been licensed for the upcoming feature film Out of Order, starring Brandon Routh (Superman Returns), Sam Huntington, Brooke Shields, Sandra Bernhard, and Luis Guzmán. The film premiered October 15, 2025 at the Chelsea Film Festival in New York City:

¸“Out of Order was always intended to be a throwback to classic situational comedies of the 80s and 90s, a la My Cousin Vinny, A Fish Called Wanda, and Mrs. Doubtfire. However, I knew the film couldn't be completely retro otherwise it may not resonate with today's younger audiences. So when it came time to put together our soundtrack I knew we needed some more contemporary songs to help the film feel fresh and classic all at the same time. Maddy Walsh & The Blind Spots are an excellent up-and-coming band with fresh beats and a poppy sound that made them a no-brainer for inclusion on the soundtrack to help us accomplish our goal of bringing a classical film to a modern audience. We were beyond fortunate to have Australian Mega star delta Goodrem allow us to use her two recent hits, ‘Hearts On the Run’ and ‘Back to Your Heart’ as the opening and closing songs for the film. This combination made for a killer sound track.” -Guy Jacobson, Director

“MaddyWalsh & The Blind Spots have such an infectious energy in their music, and the strong beats lend perfectly to keeping the energy of our film alive. When trying to find the right pieces of music to not only move the story forward at a breakneck pace, but also have lyrics that help inform the underlying emotion of our characters, ‘Hey Boy’ and ‘Bliss Seeker’ fit the bill in ways we could have only dreamed of.” -Matt Braunsdorf, Editor and Director of Photography

Sarah, lifting off the ground
Sarah, barely touching down
Wheels like waves
don’t purge but roll away
Sarah, you like it that way

And when they ask you
to come home
you say, “There’s
no such thing”
and then you just roll away

Sarah, trust the camera lens
Sarah, you radiate and then
Love makes you again
see sculptures in cement
Sarah, you make good amends

When I tell you
to look up
you say, “That’s my
favorite way”
and then you just float away

Rolling stones
gather no one
Gravity is
on the run
You know the ropes that
hold your swing and
I understand tired wings
So hold your nose and
take the plunge
The cold is only temporary

Oh Sarah
Sarah, unlikely sorcerer
You’re the keeper of the word
Oh, my Sarah
My Sarah
You’re the storm inside the home
You’re a blanket in the cold
Oh, my Sarah

You’re a prism to look through
Sarah, I believe in you
You’re a prism to look through
Sarah, I believe in you
I believe in you...
